The woman featured in this video series — Michelle Khare — ran seven marathons on seven continents in seven consecutive days.
The running sounds atrocious. Boring and painful and stupid.
But it’s the travel I can’t get over. It alone would kill me.
I recently flew from the East Coast to the West Coast to work with Microsoft in Redmond, Washington, then back to the East Coast to speak at a conference in Orlando, then back to the West Coast to work with a San Francisco school system, then back to the East Coast and home, all in seven days, and I was exhausted.
And all I did was speak, consult, perform, and serve as a scintillating dinner guest.
I didn’t even need to run to catch a single plane. Other than a combative moment on a plane with a glass-eyed bully, my travel was seamless.
How did Michelle Khare fly to these seven locations in seven days without losing her mind?
I both admire this woman for this remarkable accomplishment and hate her a little bit, too.
Damn show off.
