Out of print but still in demand

BookFinder.com tracks America’s most sought-after out-of-print titles and updates their list annually. It’s an interesting list, usually populated by previously unheard-of books, but occasionally you find something interesting. This year’s list includes:

Cameron Crowe’s Fast Times at Ridgemont High is the 1981 book where Crowe, a free-lancer for Rolling Stone magazine, went undercover at a California high school and wrote about his experiences. Crowe later wrote a screenplay based on his book, which eventually became a well-known film.

Madonna’s Sex, which I cannot understand how it’s not still in print considering her popularity and the subject matter.

Incongruous and seemingly unreadable texts such as these, all listed under Crafts, Hobbies, and How-To:

The Personality of a House: The Blue Book of Home Charm

Old Southern Apples

Interior Alchemy: Secrets for Creating EWxpressive Ambience

A book entitled The Recently Deflowered Girl: The Right Thing to Say on Every Dubious Occasion, which can’t possibly be as good as its title.
