Matthew Dicks (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Homework for Life iOS application (the “App”) and our website at homeworkforlife.com (the “Site”). By using the App or Site, you agree to the practices described below.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, precise GPS location, or biometric identifiers.

- Create and secure your account
- Sync your content across devices via Supabase
- Manage in-app purchases and subscriptions through RevenueCat
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
- Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve features
- Send service-related notices (e.g., renewal reminders)
- Detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations
3 · Legal Bases (EEA / UK Users)
We rely on (a) performance of a contract, (b) our legitimate interests (e.g., improving the App), and (c) your consent (for optional emails or cookies).
4 · Sharing & Disclosure
We never sell your data. We share it only with:

5 · Data Retention
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete individual entries—or your entire account—from within the App. Account deletion erases content from primary Supabase storage immediately and from encrypted backups within 30 days.
6 · Security
- Encryption in transit: TLS
- Encryption at rest: Supabase & RevenueCat servers
- Access controls, least-privilege principles, and regular security reviews help protect your data, though no system is 100 % secure.
7 · Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may:
- Access, correct, or export your data
- Delete your account and content
- Object to or restrict certain processing
8 · Children’s Privacy
The App and Site are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.
9 · Cookies & Tracking
The Site uses only essential cookies and local-storage keys for authentication and basic analytics. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not function.
10 · International Transfers
Your information is processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the App or Site, you consent to this transfer.
11 · Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We’ll post the new version here and change the “Effective Date.” For material changes, we’ll also notify you in-App or by email when required.
