I can’t help but think that if certain people would just stop obsessing over penises and vaginas, the world would be a much better place.
And it really is an obsession:
Same sex marriage. LGBTQ rights. Transgender restrooms.
All of this amounts to where and how a person chooses to make use of their genitalia — even though said usage is almost never done in public and does not impact the lives of these genitally-obsessed bigots in any way.
It’s an obvious and bizarre attempt to legislate the use of genitals, often based upon a religious text that also forbids tattoos, calls for the death of anyone who works on Sunday, and forbids women from ever speaking while inside a church.
None of those issues ever make it into legislation, of course.
Only the genitals.
Genitals. Genitals. Genitals. It’s like a bell that is constantly ringing in these weirdos who are fixated on penises and vaginas.
It’s buffet-style Bible reading, and these people are choosing to focus on penises and vaginas over the man who tattoos “Mother” on his bicep or the NFL quarterback who dares to throw passes on a Sunday afternoon or the man who dares to trim his beard.
Also forbidden in the Bible.
Let’s put it this way:
If opponents of same sex marriage and transgender bathroom choice are basing their positions on religion but are also shaving on a regular basis, doing business with people with tattoos, attending a Sunday afternoon baseball game, or ignoring those heathen women who dare to utter a single word while in church, then this isn’t really about religion or God or the Bible.
It comes down to a simple and bizarre obsession over penises and vaginas.
These people can’t stop thinking about, obsessing over, and desiring command of our nation’s genitalia. They are penis and vagina enthusiasts. They are seeking dictatorial control over the parts of the body typically concealed by underwear.
All of this trouble is because a certain group of people, who tend to coalesce in the same political party, can’t get their minds, hearts, and heads out of other people’s pants.
Truly. It makes no sense.
I call these people bigots, of course, because they express (and attempt to legislate) intolerance toward individuals or groups who hold differing beliefs, or who come from different races, religions, sexual orientations, or backgrounds.
That is, after all, the definition of a bigot.
But I might start calling them gential authoritarians, too.
Penis obsessives.
Vaginal Gatekeepers.
The Panty Police.
The Party of Small Government and Extensive Genital Surveillance.
Or maybe just creeps.
If you think you have a right to tell people about how they can and should use your genitals, you really are a creep of the highest order.
