It’s been well documented that my daughter despises litter.
My son, on the other hand, loves trash. He will grab a roll of paper towels and tear off one sheet at a time to throw away, calling out, “Trash! Trash!” as he does so.
It can be slightly annoying when you find something like your 401K statement or a dish towel in the trash can, but in those moments when you need him to occupy himself, a pile of scrap paper is like gold.
