- Be confident in what you know and do well. People want to know and believe in experts.
- Shut up if you don’t know what you’re talking about.
- Acknowledge that regardless of your expertise, you have more to learn.
- Acknowledge that your accomplishments didn’t happen without the help of others and the grace of blind luck.
- Don’t ever be arrogant enough to name a treatise after yourself.
