Danger. Old people crossing.

I understand this sign.

I understand this sign.

I even understand this sign.

But I saw this one today.  

Could someone explain the need for caution here?

Old people can’t stay within the crosswalk?

They can’t see oncoming traffic?

Senior citizens are as helpless as ducklings?

The elderly are down-right dangerous?

No wonder old people are crotchety.
