Very white interns

Behold! The assemblage of current interns for the Trump administration, compared to the assemblage of interns from President Obama’s last year in office.

Notice any difference?

I understand that it’s hard to identify race by skin color in an image like this, but as far as I can tell, there is one man and possibly one woman of color serving as interns for Trump.

I didn’t bother counting the people of color in President Obama’s team of interns.

In fairness to Trump, there may have been fewer candidates of color applying to intern in his administration because choosing to work for a bigoted, ignorant racist would be strange under any circumstance, but it would be particularly challenging if you’re a person of color.

Here’s what I can’t help but wonder:

How many of those white interns on Trump’s team are also bigots and racists, and how many have merely suppressed and/or discarded all moral accountability for the hopes of attaining prestige and power by working in the White House?

If I had to guess, I think they’re all probably racists, but either way, they really, really suck as human beings.
