I thought this was a joke.
I assumed that it was a satirical outlook on the creative hazards of product placement.
As an author who has been accused of product placement in his novels, I couldn’t imagine that this kind of over-the-top advertising in the midst of a storyline could be real.
I was wrong. It’s real.
It’s unbelievable and unimaginable and unconscionable and real.

Omg. That is unbelievable.

I really couldn’t watch it to the end. It was too painful. No wonder the actors were embarrassed. As for the producers, they should be ashamed of themselves. I don’t blame the writers; they need their jobs. But the whole thing is an insult to one’s intelligence.
There was a recent episode of Rizzoli and Isles, where Mrs. Rizsoli dressed up and Jane commented that she hadn’t see her in high heels for a long time. From there they proceded to launch into and advertisement for Dr. Scholl’s shoe inserts and how comfy they made high heels.
